• General information

  Perfect for romantic glamping getaways our shepherd’s hut is located on its own garden green with amazing views of Kenilworth Castle and surrounding farmland.

  We also have a lovely one bedroom self-catering barn conversation should you want to come and stay with friends or family.

  Our site is in a quiet location, on a farm in the wonderful Warwickshire countryside, but within an easy walk of pubs and restaurants. There are numerous footpaths from your door and lots of country roads to cycle on. If you prefer sightseeing then Kenilworth Castle is just a couple of fields away and Leamington, Warwick and Stratford are all within 20 mins drive.

• Accommodation

  Our shepherd’s hut contains everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a kitchen / living space, cosy double bed and an ensuite shower room (with fully flushable toilet, shower and basin).  There is also heating to keep it lovely and warm.

  The double bed is set in an alcove making it a perfect place to curl up and read a good book.

  The hut has basic kitchen facilities (sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge) and there is a gas barbeque outside, but if this isn't enough, or you fancy treating yourself, then there are a range of pubs and restaurants within 10- 20 mins walk away. Bed linen and towels are provided and the cost includes all bills, including heating.

  Outside, with the amazing view of Kenilworth Castle, you can relax in comfy seats with a fire to keep you warm. 

  We provide all the essential items for self catering including tea, coffee, sugar, a pint of milk, toilet rolls, soap, washing up liquid etc.

  A breakfast basket can be ordered in advance for a small extra charge. This includes homemade bread, jam, butter, cereal of your choice and milk. There is enough for a 2 night stay.

  We also have self catering accommodation on the farm.

• Things to do onsite and nearby

  We are only two fields away from Kenilworth castle so this is a ‘must do’ during your stay.   There are numerous walks through the local countryside starting right from your door.

  If you fancy exploring the old part of Kenilworth and wandering through the lovely Abbey Fields, this is only a 10 min walk away.  There are numerous pubs and restaurants here and plenty more in the main Kenilworth High Street.

  If you fancy going a bit further afield Leamington, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick are all just a short drive away (less than 20 mins). 

  There are so many visitor attractions within easy reach.  We have numerous National Trust properties close to our site (including Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House, Charlcote Park, Upton House and Coughton Court), two castles (Kenilworth and Warwick), Shakesperare’s Stratford, a couple of battlefields (Edgehill and Bosworth), two zoos (West Midlands Safari Park and Twycross Zoo), Cadbury World, two steam railways (Severn Valley and Gloucester and Warwickshire railway) and the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
