At the end of the day, return to one of our six luxury safari tents, complete with proper beds, firepit and hot showers. If you’re travelling in a group, you could even book several tents and enjoy a break with your nearest and dearest.

Located in the heart of Suffolk, Sweffling Glamping Site offers a unique rural escape, positioned between the charming towns of Framlingham, Southwold, and Aldeburgh. This idyllic location is the perfect base for a glamping adventure, giving you easy access to Suffolk’s stunning coastline, filled with natural beauty and a wealth of activities.
From the golden beaches of Lowestoft to the colourful houses of Aldeburgh, the nearby coastline is a haven for nature lovers and adventurers alike. For those who love exploring, the coastal estuaries are a birdwatcher’s paradise, and the nearby towns, including Woodbridge and Snape, offer delightful experiences, from sailing on the River Deben to visiting the famous Snape Maltings. Don’t miss the opportunity to relax in Aldeburgh, where you can enjoy delicious fish and chips by the sea or take in the striking ‘Scallop’ sculpture by Maggi Hambling.
Just a short drive away, you’ll find Southwold, a traditional seaside town perfect for a day on the beach, complete with a famous pier and the Adnams Brewery. Enjoy a portion of fish and chips or ice cream while you take in the sights, and return to your luxurious safari tent for a relaxing evening around the firepit. No matter what kind of glamping break you’re planning, the Lantern & Larks site at Sweffling offers something for everyone.
Each of our glamping tents accommodates up to six and has three bedrooms that each sleep two. There is one king size room, one twin room and one bunk bed room per tent. If necessary you could also fit a travel cot in any of the bedrooms (these can be hired if required).
There is an abundance of on site activities that can be booked in advance such as Nature Meditation, Forest Bathing, Beachcombing, Astronomy Sessions and a Horse and Cart Ride. Please see the details in the additional information.
It really is the ideal setting for luxury glamping as a couple or with the whole family. The coastal estuaries alone offer much to make even the least interested of you ‘twitch' just a little. The Blyth estuary enters the sea at Southwold. As well as being home to Adnams ales, its marshland is home to a veritable A to W of wildfowl from Avocet to Wigeon via Dunlin and Knot. To the south, inland Woodbridge is a centre for sailing and other water borne excursions on the tidal River Deben, that spills gently into the sea above Felixstowe.Each tent accommodates up to six people, three bedrooms: one king-size room, one twin room, and one bunk bedroom. Travel cots can be added to any bedroom (available for hire).

Beachcombing Suffolk Shingle
Join local conservationist Kate for a beachcombing adventure at Sizewell beach. Explore the unique shingle habitat and find treasures like fossils and sea glass. Suitable for ages 8+, this offsite activity is available by booking through Kate at 07512 557 200.
Horse and Cart Ride
