Nestled in the foothills of the Pennines, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Peak View offers a fabulous back-to-nature experience for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this shepherds hut is warm and cosy, benefiting from a superb wood burner as well as full central heating, making it perfect for all year round adventures.
Our Shepherd Huts are situated in a gorgeous rural setting, yet just 1 mile from the bustling former mill town of Glossop and its extensive range of facilities.
Just walking distance from the site is Windy Harbour Farm Hotel with a restaurant and a well stocked bar. There are ample varied and scenic walks in the surrounding countryside including the Pennine Way, Trans Pennine Trail and the Longdendale Trail, which are all easily accessible. Many Peak District towns and villages can be reached in around half an hour, including the spa town of Buxton and beautiful villages of Edale and Castleton. Bakewell and the magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are around an hour away, and for those who prefer the bright lights of the big city, Glossop train station offers a direct service to Manchester city centre in around 30 minutes. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 175 yards.
A choice of 4 bespoke luxury shepherd huts all with Hot Tubs, sleeping 2 persons, situated on the edge of Peak District National Park but just 1.5 miles from the town of Glossop.
All fitted with a high quality shower room and WC. A well equipped kitchen area, fixed double or Kingsize bed and double sofa. A real log burning stove as well as additional heating with thermostat control and a 32" flat screen TV with built in DVD player. Free WIFI and Private parking spaces.
For Pet lovers, two of the Huts, Wooly and Eric are now Dog Friendly. With Dog Bowls, Dog Towel and Sleeping Rug provided.
